## intersect {#aspose.cad.Rectangle}

Replaces this [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle) with the intersection of itself and the specified [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle).

def intersect(self, rect):
    ...
```

## intersect {#aspose.cad.Rectangle-aspose.cad.Rectangle}

Returns a third [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle) structure that represents the intersection of two other [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle) structures. If there is no intersection, an empty [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle) is returned.


### Returns 


A [`Rectangle`](/cad/python-net/aspose.cad/rectangle) that represents the intersection of `a` and `b`.

```
