## XmlSchemaComplexType::get_Block method


Returns the **block** attribute.

### ReturnValue

The **block** attribute prevents a complex type from being used in the specified type of derivation. The default is [XmlSchemaDerivationMethod::None](../../xmlschemaderivationmethod/). Optional.
