## XmlReaderSettings::get_ValidationType method


Returns a value indicating whether the [XmlReader](../../xmlreader/) will perform validation or type assignment when reading.

### ReturnValue

One of the [ValidationType](../../validationtype/) values that indicates whether [XmlReader](../../xmlreader/) will perform validation or type assignment when reading. The default is [ValidationType::None](../../validationtype/).
