## XmlTextReader::get_WhitespaceHandling method


Returns a value that specifies how white space is handled.

```


### ReturnValue

One of the WhitespaceHandling values. The default is **[WhitespaceHandling.All](../../whitespacehandling/)** (returns **Whitespace** and **SignificantWhitespace** nodes).
