## XmlWriterSettings::get_CloseOutput method


Returns a value indicating whether the [XmlWriter](../../xmlwriter/) should also close the underlying stream or TextWriter when the [XmlWriter::Close](../../xmlwriter/close/) method is called.

bool System::Xml::XmlWriterSettings::get_CloseOutput()
```


### ReturnValue

**true** to also close the underlying stream or TextWriter; otherwise, **false**. The default is **false**.
