## scale {#float-float}

Adds a scale transform to the builder.


### Returns 


The current TransformBuilder instance.


```python
def scale(self, sx, sy):
    ...
```


| Parameter | Type | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| sx | float | The scaling factor along the x-axis. |
| sy | float | The scaling factor along the y-axis. Defaults to 0. |
