## IParentNode class

Defines the [`IParentNode`](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode) interface that is implemented by any possible parents.



The IParentNode type exposes the following members:

### Properties
| Property | Description |

| [children](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/children) | Returns the child elements. |
| [first_element_child](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/first_element_child) | Returns the first child that is an element, and null otherwise. |
| [last_element_child](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/last_element_child) | Returns the last child that is an element, and null otherwise. |
| [child_element_count](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/child_element_count) | The childElementCount attribute must return the number of children of the context object that are elements. |
| [previous_element_sibling](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/previous_element_sibling) | Returns the previous sibling element node of this element. null if this element has no element sibling nodes that come before this one in the document tree. |
| [next_element_sibling](/svg/python-net/aspose.svg.dom/iparentnode/next_element_sibling) | Returns the next sibling element node of this element. null if this element has no element sibling nodes that come after this one in the document tree. |
