## updateActualReferenceMarks() {#default}

Updates the [Footnote.actualReferenceMark](../../../aspose.words.notes/footnote/actualReferenceMark/) property of all footnotes and endnotes in the document.

### Remarks

Updating fields ([Document.updateFields()](../updateFields/#default)) may be necessary to get the correct result.
