## Shape.stroke_weight property

Defines the brush thickness that strokes the path of a shape in points.


```python
@property
def stroke_weight(self) -> float:
    ...

@stroke_weight.setter
def stroke_weight(self, value: float):
    ...

```

### Remarks

This is a shortcut to the [Stroke.weight](../../stroke/weight/) property.

The default value is 0.75.
