## FormField.own_status property

Specifies the source of the text that's displayed in the status bar when a form field has the focus.


```python
@property
def own_status(self) -> bool:
    ...

@own_status.setter
def own_status(self, value: bool):
    ...

```

### Remarks

If ``True``, the text specified by the [FormField.status_text](../status_text/) property is displayed.
If ``False``, the text of the AutoText entry specified by the [FormField.status_text](../status_text/) property is displayed.
