## set_text_input_value(new_value) {#object}

Applies the text format specified in [FormField.text_input_format](../text_input_format/) and stores the value in [FormField.result](../result/).

def set_text_input_value(self, new_value: object):
    ...
```

### Remarks

The [FormField.text_input_default](../text_input_default/) value is applied if *newValue* is``None``.
