## format_numeric(value, format) {#float_str}

Called when Aspose.Words applies a numeric format switch, i.e. \\# "#.##".


```python
def format_numeric(self, value: float, format: str):
    ...
```

### Remarks

The implementation should return ``None`` to indicate that the default formatting should be applied.
